My Story

Hi,I'm Emma

First and foremost, I’m a proud mum to three incredible girls who are the heartbeat of YBR. They’re the reason I’m here, sharing everything I’ve learned about life, motherhood, and personal growth with you.

But truthfully? This space is just as much for me as it is for you—a place where we can learn, grow, and figure things out together.

Over the years, I’ve poured tens of thousands into seminars, courses, and experiences, all with one goal: to better understand myself and become the best version of me—for my family and for myself. And now, I’m here to share those lessons with you, in a way that’s simple, relatable, and real.

My mission is : to support woman and Their Families  like you in finding joy, balance, and confidence. As a mum of 3, I understand the challenges we all face, and am here to share the tools that have helped me. Together, we will navigate the ups and downs, laugh, learn, and create a live full of joy for you and your loved ones.

MOOOO!

Every morning, I’m lucky enough to be woken not just by my kids, but by the bleating of lambs and the mooing of cows. It might not sound like everyone’s idea of paradise, but to me, it’s pure magic. I didn’t always feel this way, though.

Back in 2018, I was living just outside London in a small town called Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. I’d spent nearly forty years there, and life was good—friends and family close by, an active social scene, and always something to celebrate. But inside, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing.

The big 40

By the time I hit forty, Essex no longer felt like the home I envisioned. The town was changing, and so was I. What once felt familiar no longer felt right. I found myself longing for a slower, quieter pace.

Matt and I had often talked about moving abroad, but the thought of leaving our families behind always held us back. Eventually, I knew it was time for a change—something inside was calling for a fresh start. And that’s when we found Devon… a place where the pace of life slows down, and you can truly breathe and grow.

Beautiful bovey

Work used to take me all over the country, and one trip to the South-West of England really stood out. I stayed at Bovey Castle in Dartmoor, Devon, and I was completely blown away. It was absolutely breathtaking. I couldn’t wait to get home and tell Matt about it—wondering if Devon could be the place we’d call home. Without a second thought, Matt said, “Yes, why not?” And just like that, I was certain. The decision was made, and nothing was going to hold me back.

A few months later, here we are, living in South Devon, surrounded by rolling green hills and some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. Our kids now attend a charming village school, much smaller than their old school in Essex. Matt and I both work from home, and life feels exactly how we imagined. It’s proof that dreams really do come true.

YBR is here to boost your confidence, bring clarity, and help you focus on what truly matters, so you can create the life you deserve.

Why Yellow Brick Roads?

Moving to a new town brought fresh connections and new opportunities to align my life with my values and beliefs. It also gave me clarity, and I began to notice how many women struggle with confidence and anxiety. That’s what inspired me to create Yellow Brick Roads.

My Inspiration

In 2018, I lost a dear friend to cancer. She was—and always will be—a bright light in my life. When I think of her, I see the colour yellow.

One of my favourite childhood films was The Wizard of Oz, and like Glinda the Good Witch, I truly believe that dreams can come true. The characters in that movie taught me powerful lessons: the Lion seeks courage and strength, the Tin Man longs for love and connection, and the Scarecrow understands that wisdom opens doors. These lessons remind us that in life, courage helps us face our fears, love connects us to others, and wisdom guides us toward the opportunities we deserve.

If you’re feeling stuck, lacking confidence, or unsure of your purpose, Yellow Brick Roads is here to guide you. When you shift your mindset, change your habits, and focus on positive growth, incredible things can happen. Sometimes, we all need a little courage, love, and wisdom in our lives.

Imagine a life where you have the confidence to chase your dreams, the support of people who genuinely care, and the knowledge to make it all happen. I’m here to help you grow in confidence and create a life you love, for you and your family.

Let me walk with you down your own Yellow Brick Road to the life you’re meant to live. If you’re feeling lost or need a bit of guidance, don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m always here to help.
